PIXEL ART SOLDIER

At HEO, I was asked to create an "idle" animation sprite for a 2D pixel character. I drew my inspiration from the recent passing of Queen Elizabeth, and did my best to replicate a member of the Coldstream Guard looking at their watch, scratching their head and stretching their foot. The image to the right is the sprite sheet of the animation.

PIXEL ART HOUSES

I used to play quite a lot of Transport Tycoon and other isometric strategy and simulation games when I was a kid. One day when I was figuring out something to do, I decided to see if I could pay homage to the isometric pixel art buildings in Transport Tycoon.

I used Photoshop to create both images. For the gable roof on the second one I consulted a video on YouTube.

PIXEL WILD WEST PARALLAX

I was asked to create a background utilizing parallax effect to a side-scrolling platforming game, using the prompt "Wild Wild West".

I created the background to the right using Photoshop. The image has five layers in total.
